Hangzhou, the capital of Zhejiang Province, lies at latitude 120?east and longitude 30?north, covers an area of 430 square kilometres, inhabited by 1.3 million people, boasting a long history. Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region is situated in the northwest of China and the middle reaches of the Yellow River. It is a provincial level autonomous region, covering an area of over 66400 sq. km., with a population of more than 4.06 million (among them one third are Hui Nationality.) There are 1800 or so mosques in this region and Moslem people have freedom to believe in religion. So Ningxia is the home for Moslems in China.
